"We are still here, you can’t defy us" - We Are Forsaken - The Excessum
This band started back in february 2003. Willem, Andy, Jeroen and Aike started right away with writing their own songs.
In 2003 the first demo CD with 5 short songs was released, quickly followed by "Hear the Herrah" and "A Long Way of Destruction". In 2005 The band played a bunch of cool shows with bands like Unadulterated, Townsville, Laternpoll and Holy Racket (UK).
In November the Full-length CD "The Art of Revenge" was released, building a small fanbase in the local music scene.
in 2006 the bands had a few shows, but not didn’t play as much as in 2005. they concentrated a lot on growing musical-wise. in 2007 the band played cool shows with Dutch rockers Van Katoen and the American punkrock band Much the Same, who are on Nitro Records. They also released a bunch of new songs to promote their music. They didn’t release an official CD for these songs.
New songs like "You Can’t Deny", "Words of the Wise" and "We Are Forsaken".
The band also recorded an acoustic version of "You Can’t Deny".
In October 2007 the band posted a new track online, called "Gunboat".
This track will be featured on the third Full-length, coming spring 2009!
